hi all i am new to the detailing world.

Usually just use autoglym super resin and then a coat of high gloss .

I am looking at using a clay bar my fr is 3 years old now and think it may benefit from it .

whats the secret? keep it wet?

I have just bought myself some poor boys black hole would i use this after a clay bar and before a good wax?

Any help is much appreciated want to give it a good clean as winter is well and truly on its way.

You wont regret claying it mate, will leave it super smooth!! Read this guide for info on how to use the clay.... CLICK HERE

The black hole should be used after washing and before waxing. So basically, use this instead of using the super resin polish.

thanks for the link

i didnt know you can use clay bars on the glass also;

I think i may have to take the plunge and try it.

My paint work feels pretty smooth already though?

I would get Sonus green to begin with, nice simple workable clay. Ideal in this temp.

Keep a jug of hot water near by to keep the clay warm.

I use various lubes.

Also, take your time, their is no rule that says you must have clayed your car within an hour. If it takes 4 hours, it takes 4 hours.
