Count yourself lucky it's not a sidelight bulb. The dipped beam ones aren't too bad with the battery still in.

I still maintain Morrettes are the biggest PITA to change bulbs for, over-priced tack
 
I recently changed one of the near side bulb's, can't remember but I'm pretty sure it was the dipped one. I got to it with no trouble, it's a little tight but the cover clipped off ok just needed some tight manoeuvring to get it out. Once the cover is off it was straight forward to unclip bulb and pull out.

Not sure what the problemo is? :blink:
