Ive just had my face lift ibiza fr 17" alloys refurbed and ive bought new tyres to go on them.Im now worried about wether they might get marked when i get someone to fit them.Is there special companies who specilize in low profile tyre fitment ,or am i worrying about nothing?I had a bmw wheel marked once when a tyre was fitted and so im nervous .
Do the refurb place not have a tyre fitter they get in, ask they may well do. The place I went to had their own guy and I watched him fit the tyres. He actually did knock one I couldn't even see the damamge tbh but he said come back in two days wee have to re do this one! (turns out is was cos the previous owner had machine of a few mm of that wheel) Know how you feel I may just go back there when I need tyres!
some block damaged my wheel at sts so i said 2 them and they are insured and i got 70 pound check threw post 2 weeks later for a referb
