Hi All

This is my first post so please be gentle with me.

I have a Seat Leon MY2008 2.0 TDI 5dr.

I am looking to fit the above to replace the bog standard radio/cd player.

I have searched the forums and found the a fitting guide

seatcupra.net/forums/showthread.php?t=139255

However has anyone fitted the above and if so my questions are as follows

For info my steering wheel does not have controls but may wish to upgrade it at some point so with that in mind

1- What if any cables do I need to connect the Kenwood unit now and in future if changing steering wheel?
2- Is it the same facia panel as in the guide i need ?
3 - Does anyone know the part numbers for any of the above items I need ?
4 - Any other fitting advice?

Many thanks all.

Connect2 (Google it) is where I got my wiring adaptors etc. They do all sorts of kits to connect your aftermarket Unit to your cars standard wires. I found the job quite involved, but it works fine, steering wheel buttons all work bar the Hands free as that will be probably work through the new headunit. There are car audio websites that will do Fascias and kits - Car Audio & Security is one.
I found it gets very busy with wires, maybe just my set up, but I had to shove wiring looms into holes inside the dashboard to get the unit back in. Good luck!
