I always found vauxhall sites to be quite friendly. One i was on had a load of shows each year :)

i Too had a Corsa C but it was only a 1.0l did its job though :)

if your thinking big turbo, your username will be just right!

Id sort out the brakes and handling out first, then uprate the SMIC to an FMIC, sort the exhaust and filter setup out, then either get it custom remapped to 180bhpish,

OR, get an upgraded clutch to handle the HUGE amount of torque and get an Allard Turbo on top,

Even on a normal remap, your clutch will suffer.

Anyhow just to tempt you, here's a few figs from a CustomCode Remapped Ibiza

161bhp at the wheels
180ish flywheel
301 lb.ft
14.8sec 1/4mile @92mph
0-60 6.7secs
140mph
30-70mph 5.8secs

Group7 insurance
55mpg+
Cheap Tax.

You know you've bought the right car!!!

think i might start with pd160 intake green filter decat and cat back then possibly a allard intercooler and sachs clutch then the remap. 6.7 seconds sounds nice, to start with i only want to hit 200bhp then maybe next year upgrade the turbo and if possible cams,

can i get cams for the fr diesel

you wont hit 200bhp with out an upgraded turbo.

You might see 190 on some optimistic rollers.

im pretty sure you can get race cams, devonutopia has some on his fabia hybrid, i think.

Fitting cams to any 8v engine is not a good idea if you want to keep it driveable, more extreme the cam less driveable the car especially when you are talking about diesels with their shorter rev range. You can get diesel cams though if you want but i would put my money towards other things myself.

well i get it in mid november so then the fun begins, will get the pd160 intake and green panel filter within its first week, then the decat and cat back oval in january, then bigger turbo fmic and remap next march or april, bigger injectors etc etc,

really cant wait to get it now as soon as it comes al get the pics up
