Just means I will be in the Cordy ;)

Are the ones from say GSF just as good as SEAT ones?

couldnt say.
many on here advise originals.
i paid £25 inclusive at skoda.

im sure some on here have said they can get them for £15, but for a £10 or £20 if you get a spare id rather have the originals.

only takes once to let you down, but then many times GSF parts come from the same place...

hopefully you'll invest in a spare to keep in your spare wheel well...

When your first coilpack goes you can be sure another will go in the not to distant future. My advise would be to change all of them and carry one of the old ones as a spare.GSF are as good as the originals

Interesting about one goes - they all go ......

Car is 7 years old, had one coilpack go after 9 months and since then have had another 3 go (one when getting it mapped and doing 130+ at the time - now that gets your attention!!!).

But i still have one coilpack that is an original, 7+ years old, 90+k miles, used on track, remaped & now with a BT kit on it.... so they dont always all fail :)

Oh - and i do keep a spare in the boot and will have to get a 2nd spare soon ;)

Tris mate - had exact same thing happen on Saturday morning before NuYr.

Limped my way home an shot down Hidsons in Maidstone (they had 7 in stock when I was there).

Paid £29 summit.

Didn't have the money to get a spare just in case, but once Jan pay day comes along i'll prob get a complete set & have a spare...just to be safe!

PS - When I read the thread title I thought you were gonna say you were selling your LC...
