aftermarket headunit please help :(

yeh thanks for that Koush my other one i brought seperatly had some crappy instructions that said something along those lines but it didnt really make sense until you put it that way so yeh i will make shur connecting to the cars loom is the last thing i do thanks.

Tom did the ctsst001 connector work

I am having same issues. Both with car off and on the new head unit not getting any power. If this worked I will just spend the 40 on it.

Did you also have no power to head unit before this connection. Have ordered the one I listed off dynamic sounds as 10er cheaper. Hopefully it sorts me out.

I tried a generic ISO adaptor that came with a DIN cage and non-SEAT fascia from EBay and that may have needed a separate +12V but I only tried it briefly to be sure that it wasn't the correct part as I had already ordered the Connects2 lead.

Hey guys did this work for you ? I have a mk Leon removed original radio to fit dvd player and it won't switch on put the original one back in it won't switch on ethier so found one of my old CD player's put that in and it ejected the CD that was in it but Sri won't switch on any ideas ??

I'm not sure I understand the question but a Connects2 adaptor for the Leon solves all issues with having the correct feed.
I don't have any ideas about why the situation you describe isn't working other than the obvious blown fuses/loose wires.
