Air Con not working in old shape 130 TDI

Just outside the three year warranty and the air con has stopped blowing out cold air. Its coming out the same temperature as 'LOW' without the air con button being pressed.

Any ideas greatly appreciated.

Mine is about 2 years old and has just started to develop the same sort of problem. Basically stationary stuck in traffic you can hear the fan trying to come on and really draining the engine but the air coming out tends to be the same as the ambient temperature. However once you get out of traffic and the air starts moving over the radiators it goes cold again.

So... if it's the same for you then it's possible it's a broken fan/control unit which is due to be replaced on mine...
