Hi just wondering what you did if you've fitted bucket / different seats and harness and removed the original seat belts to find the airbag light is always on? What did you do with the connector (i.e. add a resistor)?

cheers

You can add a resistor can’t remember what one though.

Personally I just leave the light on lol

With the mot changes that’s taken place you can’t change the seats without the vehicle being ‘heavily modified’. When it’s classed as heavily modified you can get around some other factors as well.

I learnt this when converting mine into a track car :)

The guidelines do say that it has to have a roll cage to be classed as it.

Sure you can find away round it but just thought I’d share

Cheers, mine passed its MOT last week because the Airbag light didn't come on at all, which is only an advisory, whereas permanently On is a fail, so i'd like to get mine wired correctly, rather than the bulb not illuminating :)

Interesting, the fella that tested it spoke about modified cars and said the government is proposing scrapping MOT's for older cars but if they are modified then they will still be subject to an MOT after all. Our cars are not that old yet, but just for info.
