for long time i have the airbag light on that indicates that i have problem with the airbag system.
i checked it with a computer and try to delete the error but it's not help.

for now i cant upload pictures because i am new here
but it's say : 01222 crash sens.side airbag pass.side -G180 no or incorrect setting

any ideas for me?

Yes G180 is the OS (Drivers/RHS when sat in the car) Crash sensor.

It is most likely due to water leaking in from either the doors, through the bulkhead where the wires come into the cabin from the engine or through the pollen filter.

i replaced once the sensor his number is :6Q0909606
i orderd from ebay the same sensor and i still got this error
can you navigate me to the right sensor?
did i need to do somthing with the program except trying to delete the error?
(maybe the sensor that i ordered broken or somthing )

Buying stuff like that from eBay is a bit dodgy really to be sure you want to get one from dealer ideally and if its not the sensor thats faulty after maybe chaffed wires or ingress like mentioned by others?? :)

Look on the rosstech website. It will tell you how to sort it out. You might have bought the wrong sensor. The part number is probably write but there is a code at the end which must match your airbag control module.

If you have vag-com or vcds then you can check measuring block 9 in the airbag module - measure tab. E numbers will say something like 05 05 or 0A 0A or similar which is the code you will need after 6q0 909 606.

Let us know how you get on.

thank you guys
i will check this thing out and will post updates again.i don't have vag-con i need to go to my friend.
by the way can you tell me which cable i need to buy for using vag com ?
thanks a lot!!

I am not sure if VCDS lite (the free version) will allow you to check the measuring blocks. It might be easier to get someone from the VAG-COM section to do it for you.

yea you right.
i just need to find some time to cometo my friend he has the program and all stuff.
i wondering which cable i need to buy to use the program my self?

some updates:
i try to connect the wires directly without the connectors and it's not helped.
after making some phone calls to my guys they told me that the problem is not in the passanger seat sensor, it's probably the sensor airbag on the right beam of the car .
need some advises guys plzz

the vag com is still give me the error :"62-00 no or incorrect adjustment "....

Hi,

Did you ever resolve this issue ? I have exactly the same fault, I have VCDS-Lite, which gives me:-

Sunday, 04 January 2015, 17:55:10.

VCDS-Lite Version: Release 1.2

Control Module Part Number: 1C0 909 605 A

Component and/or Version: 39 AIRBAG VW51 0A 0008

Software Coding: 13113

Work Shop Code: WSC 06401

VCID: 2237698BBDD7

1 Fault Found:

01222 - Crash Sensor Side Airbag; Passenger Side (G180)

62-00 - No or Incorrect Adjustment

VCDS-Lite is able to clear the code, but as soon as I restart the ignition the fault is detected again.

Thanks

Lee

Hi,
The problem is that if you clear the fault, when you turn the ignition back on, because the fault is still there, it flags back up again.

What you need to do is find the index of the sensor and then replace the sensor, which is under the passenger seat.

Then clear the fault and it should be sorted.

have you check all the connections under the seat as when the seats at the front are moved this can cause the airbag light to come on !!!! common fault on any make of vehicle! have you plugged into it to see what code it has thrown to give you an idea ?

Hi,

Had a quick look, but will do a proper look at lunchtime. Yeah fault is:-

01222 - Crash Sensor Side Airbag; Passenger Side (G180)

62-00 - No or Incorrect Adjustment

Looks like I may have to replace the sensor.
