Here is a slightly embarassing question on my part! Can anyone inform me where the airbox is located in a 1.6 Leon? I know it is in the engine bay somewhere!

top right corner above battery is a possibility, but i have a derv, as that is a big black housing the filter.
you could get a haynes for the golf 4.6 as is same engine

its in the engine cover u have to undo the srews on it then split the bottom half off the top and the panel filter will be there
