airfilter change leon cupra

Guys needing some advice, how the hell do you remove the engine cover to change the air filter, simple question i know, i have un clipped all i can see and pulled like on the cover without it moving !!!

Youve gotta be forcefull m8, itll go with a bit of brute
Strength, start at the front left side, ive found that once
1 side frees off the rest are easy as not under tension,
When refitting cover make sure you grease the rubbers
And fitting clips, makes future removal a cinch.

My god, I did this last week too, I thought I was gonna need Geoff Capes to come round and help. It was mega tight. I found pulling the rear ones off first worked best for me as you can get hold of it better. I also greased up my rubber mounts too. Thanks guys for advice by golly they designed the rubber seals well twas like a major tugg trying to get the housing off !!
