Hello Guys,

First of all apologies for starting a thread on the above subject, I realise there's been hundreds of them. So why I am starting another? Cause I'm thick as mince :help:

I have the below CD Player installed on my 55 plate Ibiza Cupra (CD6 changer button one).

All I'm looking for is a complete idiots guide on how to install an AUX in port and where to buy from? I've read hundreds of threads and think I have the general idea - buy the lead (blue adapter) plug it into the back and then earth a pin or something? Lost primarily at the last part.

Also I'm assuming I'll need the release keys.

Would the following be of use or is there any easier/cheaper solution?

http://cdchangeremulator.com/index.php?_a=viewProd&productId=14 with the release keys included.

Thank you for any help and again sorry for boring most of you to death with such a thread again.

Kyle

Just a quick bump lads, any advice would be really appreciated.

I've got another slight issue with this also, so if someone could address the above then it'll give me a starting point.

Thanks.

Connections on head unit are listed here - http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/showpost.php?p=1188935&postcount=11

You need to earth PIN 14 so it thinks there is a CD player attached.
Run a wire between pin 14 on the head unit to the stud on the back of the head unit.

This cable will do the job - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SMART-CAR...cles_Terminals_Cabling_ET&hash=item45f2d88695

Perfect mate, thank you very much exactly what I was after. Half the price of the one's I was looking at so spot on.

I'll order one of them and let you know how I get on.

For anyone interested I followed the above advice from Deano and got it working perfectly. It's pretty straight forward and even I managed which was surprising considering I'm hopeless.

Don't bother buying release keys either, as a simple credit card cut up will do the job perfectly.

Cheers DEANO.

Glad your sorted.

I use a cut up blockbuster card instead of the correct keys too.
