Hey there.

I fitted a smart aux lead to the back of my head unit and got it working perfectly.

Now the other day I disconnected my battery and reconnected it, entered my stereo code and now when Ipress the cd6 button it ddoesn'tgo to tthe aux input it just flashes changer then goes back to the radio again. Really annoying as I haven't even touched the back of the electronics of the head unit.

Any advice please? Thank you!

Did you connect the GND wire to the back of the headunit when you hooked it up?

I found it quite temperamental when the GND wire was soldered to the big bolt on the back of the headunit (which is the usual practice). I had to solder it directly to the case metal.

I can't remember now but I think it hard wired it in.

The thing is it shouldn't have been disturbed it's only since I disconnected the battery that it has done this :(
