I had this isssue, was a know fault with the lock on the drivers side, covered under warrenty

Agreed, out two FR's had this problem in the first 18 month ALL done under warranty [ it was a well known problem and should have been picked up by the previous owner? [ but I beleive it was the nearside door controller that was faulty]
