oo just found the smilies :p

Leave your windows open, lock the car, wait 30 secs, put your hand in.

Sport models should have an alarm. To stop it, just unlock the car.

yes it'll have an alarm. and its loud, i have a clifford on my car as well as the standard one, and when the standard alarm goes off it drowns out the clifford

I didn't even know I had an alarm on my car until I set it off accidently on Saturday coming back from Lincoln.

no alarm on sport only on FR and Cupra

flashing light is for immobiliser and to show that 'safe' is activated

The only time my alarm has gone off was on the day I picked up the car. I locked it using the remote then SWMBO unlocked the passenger door to get something out, using the spare, non remote, key. As we found out you have a certain time to put the key in the ignition before the alarm goes off. Its quite loud when you don't know how to stop it.:)

The Sports do have an alarm, or at least they used to (mine did), interior motion sensors were in the grille just behind the interior light.
Maybe they're not fitted to the later Sport models.

seat site says no alarm on mk4.
mines a pre facelift.

tried the above opening window and waving arm around but nothing. tried it before aswell.

yeah Sport models won't have an Alarm fitted unless they are the old sport models ie, 130tdi pd models but the newer sport models you'd have to of paid extra 120 quid i think, otherwise it comes in a Option pack with other bits and bobs
