Alfa convert

Hi everyone

Just bit the bullet yesterday and placed an order for a Formentor VZ1. Had a play in the demonstrator (V1) and was so impressed with the drive. Coming from an Alfa and I really like what they’ve done with the first purpose built Cupra of the VW era. So much nicer than the boxy German cousins!

Anyhow just thought I’d introduce myself after a few days looking in the forum trying to find out more about the ownership experience.
Was given an April 30th delivery date yesterday but, from what I’ve been reading, I’m not sure how realistic that is! Just know that I can’t wait to get hold of it!!!!

My first car was a 147! Nice little motor. Had a few motors in between then went and bought a giulietta 10 years ago but, 142000 miles later, it’s time to trade the old girl in!

Hard to find reviews on the VZ1 2.0 245! Interested to know how it handles and the comfort levels with the adaptive suspension and McPherson rear as opposed to the torsion beam on the V1 I drove. If any one has seen any please can you let me know?
