Allard trouble...

thing is i think allards are moving there workshop at the mo and i have been trying to get in touvh with them to and having no luck it might be srry times for them....

i spoke to lloyd allard the other day..... aparantely they are not doing road stuff anymore and concentrating on stuff for the track

thats fair enough, but they should give some kind of service to customers who have just spend money with them, plus they should at least email people back and state that.

only passing on what lloyd has said, i belive that there has been alot of troubles with them behind the scenes, family problems etc.......

well, there custom services needs improving dremastically tbh, i offered to work for them, would have been a slave! they have so much potencial its stupid.

Shame to see an excellent manufacture go down. He mentioned to me last i spoke to him that they were moving to a different site, am trying to get ahold of the address but thats being a pain, havnt left a note on their old unit or anything.

Lloyd said that they also have a base over at the nurburgring aswell now......

they usually do a big trip over there yearly i think, the new units are based in gloucestershire, more towards the forest i think? or junct 13 on the M5 i cant remember haha. Still need to find them and see if they did come up with my proto boost pipes.

well what ever is happeneing they still owe me a hybrid turbo form 3 months ago but ive had no response. They seem to be lacking basic customer servive imo. It adds up to about £800, which isnt something to be missed!!

i would of jumped on the small claims court bangwagon by now, i remember reading you going to trading standards.... i think.... or was it not you

tbh, its they way they get treated will result in how they treat you back.... if something goes wrong, then speak calmly to them, dont rant and rave..... thats the way things get resolved imho

Seriously do not use ALLARDS!

Ok just a warning for the first timer tdi tuners about allrads......DO NOT USE THEM.....they still owe me a refund for my turbo from over 4 months ago and im sure there are others awaiting returns/refunds. They have recently changed their compant name to try and shake a few customers off * Fuel Efficient Systems *

From everything I've heard they are a good lads down there - I dont know how much you've done to try to get your money/goods but I dont think slating them on a public forum is any way to do things. If you want to tell people in person then thats down to you but please be careful on a place like this.

Agreed. however I would imagine someone would do alot to get £800 back!

There is a difference between slating and giving your opion on the product or service delivered. Paul can give this in any thread he wants, as long as he says from his experience before every sentence
