I have found a set of Audi TT alloys which im thinking about buying, iv never bought aftermarket wheels before so i just wanted to check if these would fit

i have read up about offset etc but its baffled me :(

i realise that the offset on these are a bit more than quoted on the cars standard spec so wanted to make sure they wont go rubbing on the suspension etc

18 x 9
5 x 112
ET 52
CB 57.1

The tyres are 225/40/18

55 plate Seat Leon Mk2 2.0 TDi Sport

Thanks in advance :)

I don't think they will fit. I think the widest wheels you can run on the front of the mk2 leon is 8.5" depending on offset.

The standard Cupra R alloys are 19x8 et51 so the wheels your looking at will have 14mm less clearance on the inside that the Cupra R's wheels.

thanks for your reply, thats a valid point.

the guy selling them says his mk5 golf with coilovers needed 7mm spacers to clear struts, he said i may need these but im clueless haha

If a 7mm spacer makes it clear the strut on a mk5 it should be the same as the mk2 Leon.
7mm spacer on ET52 makes them ET45. Comparing them to my 18x8 ET42 which I think are spot on for lining up with the wheel arches and the 18x9 et45 (including spacer) your looking at will stick out 10mm further. I personally think that they would stick to far out the arch.
