Hey,
I'm looking to get a new set of 17s. Found these, and was hoping for some opinions on these wheels to help make my choice:

those have been around for a while. TBH, i think there are better wheels out there.
But it all comes down to your own personal taste.

At the end of the day put wheels on that you like, not what everyone else likes....

On your Leon....Nah. Personally I don't think they suit the car at all. You need a Euro styled rim, maybe a BBS copy if you are short of cash for the real thing. What other body mods are you planning on carrying out? That would be a good indicator to help you decide on a rim, after all you don't want to spend £££ and find out 6mths down the line that your car doesn't look right anymore.

There not my cup of tea, but everyone has different taste.Personally i am thinking hard of getting my LCR alloys powder coated in Gloss black, i reckon i need to get Photoshop out and do a bit of thinkering to see if they would suit my platinum grey LCR.

if you like them, get them, impluse buying is probably the most satisfying purchase of all.Keep them in good nick and you can sell them on if you change your mind.

Yeah, impulse buying - I've been a sucker for that in the past. It's the main reason I create these threads. I've bought something before thinking it's the best thing since sliced bread, then fitted it, and nearly thrown up :(

Try www.rarerims.co.uk

They are a supplier of a large selection of JDM copy rims and also some Euro styled ones.

They have a function on their website allowing you to try different styles of wheel on your car. Even though you might not like what they sell, it could give you an idea of what to go for i.e. multi/5/6 spoke etc. Just upload a side-on pic of your car to their site and have a play.

Personally I really like the 'Rota Boost' or 'Force' on a lowered LCR.

Wheels are like women dude....

We like them all... but in the end you knwo whats best for you... hahahaha

I think it depends on the look you are after... maybe a bad ass look for a black Leon may look cool...

Seen them on a Yellow LCR, not really what I would opt for...

But like we all say, If you like em ... don't sit here reading this shite.... go n get them fitted my friend!

Would there be a noticeable difference in ride quality from downgrading 19 inch to 18 inch? Or would I need to go down to 17 inch to feel any real benefit? Or is the tyre a greater contributor to ride quality and if so in what way?

Also how about these:

Thanks
