been playng around with my new sub and amp and whilst playing i decided to look at the alpine head unit

the problem i am having is trying to understand what the hell DEFEAT is lol can some one shed some light

I think if you turn the DEFEAT on, it will bypass any EQ settings that you have set in the HU. This is used if you have an external EQ..

It may be the other way round tho - DEFEAT off bypasses the internal EQ. Can't remember which way it is
