Alpine hu goes pop

Every time i start the car the speakers goes pop when i have the HU on? Is there anyway to stop this?

Have you checked the earth cabling? Are you running an external power amp?

Woohoo - I'd hoped we'd never hear the last of "FRS" (search) Although never heard of it on an aftermarket radio...

Earthing cable good and it runs a heavy duty guage cable direct to the battery. And no external amp.

Try disconnecting it and reconnecting it and ensure there are no bare wires or sliced cable sheathings. I once sheared the blue remote power cable between the stereo and the cage and suffered a similar issue.

i used to have that on my fiesta front speakers, the speakers would slightly touch the door i eventually figured out, put lpads tape on the magnetic bit of speakers and it stopped

The speakers touching the door does sound feasible. Cause my aura unit uinit use to cut out all the time. Thats why i got an alpine unit.
