Going to be documenting my progress here for my MK2 FR!
Will get some pictures up as soon as I can, keep forgetting!
It's a '56 Prefacelift, 2.0TFSI in silver and only had 60k on the clock! It came with the BTCC Front Bumper, but no other BTCC bits unfortunately
Current mods I've carried out so far:
- Swapped the climate control for the facelift version, definitely prefer it
- Swapped out the stock radio for a 7inch RNS510 style unit, quite pleased with it even if it's not the real thing!
- Changed stock sidelight bulbs so some cree LEDs
- Swapped out all the interior LEDs from the horrid yellow to a nice blue
Mods I'm getting in the near future:
- Bespoked USMD kit for the indicators
- Swapping the stock 17s (which are horrid by the way) for some 18s
- Aftermarket Headlights - Looking into the ones from Rob on here! They're amazing.
- BTCC Rear Spoiler
Highlight of mods I'm looking into for further down the line
- Full BTCC kit, so skirts and Bumper
- Painting the Calipers
- Wrapping the interior
- Front Splitter (Probably TRC)
- Rear Splitter (Same again)
- Custom Exhaust System
- P-Flo Induction Kit
- Possibly a remap
