altea heater/ blower problem

hi,
i am new to this site and would like some info please. my heating a/c blower is not working in my altea tdi (54 plate). i have checked the obvious fuses etc and they are ok. the climate control says the blower should be on but nadda, not even a whisper of air comes out. many thanks

Try pressing the Econ button and the middle horizontal button on top of the display together, it should reset the air con.

My fan blower motor failed with 2weeks left on the warranty (05plate 2.0tdi), apparently its a straight forward job as when I took it in to the dealers they had it fitted within 20mins. It's located behind the glovecompartment.
