Alternate Diagnostics Program after tuning

Guys,

I had my tuning last week and now experiencing some surging issues, I know that its common and might be related to the N75 or 249 (already has been consulted in another topic in this forum) , but my question whether its possible to find some Diagnostics Program that can recognize some basic issues after a tuning, such as: boost pressure, N75 functionality, failure code and etc .. And finally it shall be the VAG-COM pro cause its very expensive and I can not see a reason to buy it, due to a lack of my knowledge in tuning.. I just want to monitor my turbo related stuff, sort of things ..

Any alternate program that you can suggest me ?

Oh, to perform some diagnostic by someone else this is not a problem, actually it could be done by my workshop specialist, where I had my tuning, me and my FR are more than welcome there, so this is not an issue ...

However , I do want to have something available for my personal usage when ever I want to perform a scan or diagnostics in a particular time and case ...

For instance, when I having the surging, I have to know what happens right now, cause with my bad luck I will get myself to the worksh9ip and they wont be able to reproduce the issue .. and it will be just a waste of time ...

You can use vagcom shareware (unregistered version of the full product) for logging certain blocks and faults.

Yeah but what about the OBDII plug (USB enabled) ... it worth some !!! or am I wrong ?

You can buy the cable from ebay for less than 20 pounds (gbp).
