ambient footwell lighting

iv had a thought at what im going to try for this footwell lights
here it is

iv seen on the internet some were that you can a six inch neon type tube well as you sit in your car down on the left beside you there is that lenght panel which you can remove im thinking i might fit one of them neon tubes in ther what you lot think?

I think steer clear of anything neon unless you are a complete Chav. LEDs are the way forward

I think we should keep this specific or as close as possible to 'ambient footwell lighting'

i got some red led lights in my foot wlls and they look good. they come on with my gauges and everything is red all matching

Would be great if you could. I am going to order the gear so that i can start fitting leds in the footwells next weekend, was thinking of red/orangey to match our car's central console, even my aftermarket stereo has a setting to have all the lights in red
