Congrats and enjoy.

Kiwi Green is deffo the best colour after candy white. If I was to ever get another cupra it would be in kiwi green.

You will soon climatise yourself to the fact that the cupra costs more to fill up but once it becomes a norm you will stop thinking about it and just enjoy the car!

Ami, dare i ask how much a full tank is?

cost £60 today, but I'm expecting that to happen more/ go up when the mods start arriving ;)

Thanks

Yep, it was obviously going to be more than the ibiza due to having a bigger tank but been lovely having that 6th gear in the cupra!

On stage 2 plus its drinks big time!

I get less than 200 miles from a full tank with my driving around town, on the motorway it will struggle to maintain around 30mpg on a run doing 60mph on the motorway. Get GIAC so you can switch maps on the go, with stock boost the MPG goes right back up again.

Thanks guys :) racked up just over 400 miles now

Was going to start thinking about the mods but wonder if I should leave it for a certain amout of time/miles so if anything was to go wrong I can get any work done under warranty

Would just be my luck Dan - get a map/intake/springs whatever, something to go wrong and the stealers refusing to fix anything under warranty

I spoke to Cecil and Larter (BSE) about this when my bro was looking at a revo'd K1. They say that remaps etc they will not declare to SEAT HQ when doing warranty work. If the aftermarket component is not directly responsible they will overlook it.
Fuel pump, remap and forge DV would see you around 300bhp would it not?

Very nice indeed, you must be soo happy to finally get your hands on it. I look forward to seeing it in the flesh.

Let the modding begin.

Ami, once you acheive 300+bhp, I think you should do a track day ;)

don't really fancy killing myself (or wrecking the car!)

if got a revo map with switch to be able to turn it off would the dealer notice??

should get 300bhp with stage 1 map then the list continues in no particular order:

ITG intake (with green hoses)
forge dv spacer
Sportlines
miltek cat back (possibly blueflame downpipe)
wheel spacers
replacement engine hoses
then whatever else takes my fancy ;)

I've ordered the thing we will not mention ;)

I think the money spent towards engine hose could be put towards other things which are more important, engine wise or handling. Not that many people change the hoses tbh.
