Does anyone know the engine type of a 1.8T AMK?

Which code identifies it? 028, 048, 058, 038, 06A, 06B

Cheers

AMK is a 210 BHP found in Leon Cupra R of 2002 & 2003 and S3's

I know what cars the engine is from and i also know it is an amk but i want to know the engine type not the engine code as per amk. The engine type identifies the internals.

I'm trying to fing out if the crank is a short nose or long nose.

Sorry mate. Cant help you then. If you have the registration number or chassis number of the car it came from then maybe the parts department can help you.
But as far as i know you can tell from just PR codes. I could be wrong of course.

The crank's # is 06A 105 021 and is shared (on the leon at least) with AGN, APG, AMK, ARY, AUQ & BAM engines

so if you know the answer to any of those, then you know the answer to yours

Cheers Mork thats where i got my answer but i couldn't find an 06B engine to compare or the rest for that matter.

Just needed to double check and get the correct drawings :)
