My Nomad A pillar pod keeps coming away from the top of the pillar! Its well annoying, I just used the velcro strips supplied but has anyone else used a differnet method that will actually hold it in place properly?

Cheers

I cut off two of the lugs on the back of the stock cover, glued them in place and its works like an OE unit, had it on off about 20 times now and it goes on so easy and looks flush.

Got fecked off with the pillar hitting me when it fell off when it got hot!

Lol! How did you cut the lugs off? With a stanley knife or somat? It doesn't look too easy to do! If the OE pillar is only £9 then its worth havin a go I suppose!

Cheers for the replies guys!

Yeah just a bog standard stanley blade, slice them off at the bottom and get a hot glue gun, tack it on line it up then test fit it then glue it fully. Works a treat. I only used two lugs so both go on fine if i need to change them quickly for any reason

I've got the velcro, initially had a problem but second time around (new velcro) and some clever positioning of it (well, the edges lol) and its never fallen off since :) I've removed it 3 or 4 times recently and its been fine :)

Are you talkin' to me?
Mate of mine with a Cupra R has this pillar pod he attached his with a self tap screw and covered it with the little cap which also covers a screw at the front of the seat base, have a feel (oh er) down by the handle for moving the seat and you will see where I mean.

Does not look that bad, but I know it would not suit everyone.

i found that pulling the door seal down before attaching the A pillar pod worked perfect.i also used the velcro supplied
