Another alloy wheel thread. Borbet LV5's

Really like the look of these wheels, kinda similar to the oem cupra wheel imo, and come in anthracite in 18. seen a few pics of a white leon with these that ill try and stick in another post
basically, wondering about weight, the only info i could find was a guestimate online, at around 10-11kg per wheel. borbet claim that they make lightweight alloys, but these dont seem that lightweight which is what im after but lots of people have the td 1.2's already which would be my obvious choice. anyone know the weight of the oem cupra wheel to know if this would make any sort of weight saving...just to save getting the tyre of and weighin it myself if anyone else already knows basically

found it, 11.8kg. didnt come up when i searched it here, but a google search brought it up as a scn thread anyway

not much of a weight saving anyway- 1kg per wheel

9.8kg for the lv4's in 18, seems like a better weight and still looks good- kinda subtle i think

LV4 is the LV5 design but with 4 holes instead

I nearly got some of these but went with BBS CKs in Anthracite instead, which were a lot more expensive!

Have to be honest and say that when I saw the thread title on this thread, I had visions of the hideous scene wheels often found on slammed old VW's with the tyres stretched way past the edges, much like this

thank for the replies, they do look the part like, but its the weight that im after, and i just dont think theyre light enough, team dynamics might be the way forward for the price i think.
BUT, going to be changing the car in Jan 2012, so not sure if I should stop spending money on this an start saving for my new one which at the minute I think will be a 370z and will cost a fortune to tune compared to the cupra so new wheels might be a silly option at this point
