I use my car on a daily basis to drive to the train station and take the train to work.
On Friday on the way back, I found my LCR in the car park in a awful state: missing locks (door and ignition), dangling cables under the driving wheel, crooked bonnet (probably broken hinge), broken bonnet lock. One week earlier I had found it with stolen badges (the three "R" and one "cupra") and a missing rear bumper cover for the towing hook. The basta*** did it in broad daylight.
This is so annoying, went to the police whom took my deposition for insurance purposes, had the car towed and will arrange a visit at my local SEAT deaker tomorrow to have it fixed. Just hope the cost won't be above the market value of the car in which case the insurance company wouldn't foot the bill. I just had the cambelt done (220.000 km), new brake pads (2 months ago) and spanking new tyres (Good Year F1 Eagle Asymetric 3, mounted 2 weeks ago), a total of 1400€ spent to have it in good shape.
This is the fourth time they try to steal it since I moved to Spain 8 yrs ago. So bloody agravating. Just needed to vent out my rage. Thanks for listening.
Shall I sell it to avoid more attempts? I'd be so sad to see it gone though. Anyone else has gone through such ordeal?
