I have been reading through the many threads regarding the immobiliser issues and look to be having the same issues on my Ibiza 1.4 Sport.
I took out the cluster and reflowed both connectors today and they look fine. Still having the key flashing symbol and the car will catch for a moment and then die.
Any next steps to check? The car has been parked for 2 years with a flat battery and I have 3 keys for it, one with buttons, two without.
Could the antenna be faulty? Is there any reprogramming required as the car has been without power for so long? Do I just need to try and reflow the cluster connectors again?
