Has anyone got the anti dazzle rear view mirror on the Seat Ibiza FR?

If so does anyone know what the 2 red lights that are on permenatly are for?

It came with the car! It was part of the luxury pack 2 optional extra with the folding mirrors and auto rain sensing wipers :p

Yeah it is annoying! I wish my folding mirrors would fold when i take the key out of the ignition and fold back out when i start the engine

The red leds I think are well cool! They light up the dashboard slightly great for when you've a drink in the holder or routing around in the little tray under the climate control area! I think they act as a barrier, once broken they activate the auto dimming? Could be mistaken tho...

drove my car in the dark for the first time at the weekend, loved the auto-dipping rear-view mirror, also noticed the red lights on the bottom of the mirror, no idea what they are for apart from to light up the dials any tray under the centre console.

Submarine Lights - is the terminology for the lights you are refering too

does anyone know if the folding mirrors can be retro fitted?

does anyone know if you can buy the anti dazzle rear view mirror for a seat ibiza cupra and if so where can you buy it from

I've got great interior lights in the polo, got three up front and two in the back! So much better than just one like in the beeza, least you can see what ya doing!

Anti-dazzle rear view mirrors and folding door mirrors, how I do miss these features! :headhurt:

Do you think this could be activated in vag com?

Im afraid you are, the mirror antidazle function is activated from the little sensor next to the green LED light

Seeing as most of you have the feature any way seems a shame to start a new thread, do any of you have problems with the headlight washers putting them selves away after use?

I used to have this problem with the washers on my old ibiza fr. Seat removed and put a new pop up washer jet in
