Anti- Perforation warranty

Hi, guys.
I am new to this forum and a new owner of 2007 ibiza fr.
I bought this car from a private seller in December 2015 and found that this car
has some small areas developing rust along the door frame of the driver side front and back.
I took it to Seat dealership and now they are saying that since the rust has not penetrated the steel, it is considered to be surface rust which means it did not start from inside. So this can not be repaired under warranty.
But all the rust started under the paintwork. When the accessor first saw the rust, he immediately said that that was caused by external chip, but when we looked at it closely, he could see that it started under the paintwork. Then, he said I should not have bought a car in that condition, so it was my mistake. I regret that I did not spot the rust, but the warranty should be transferred to the next owner, so I do not see any problem. This car has been serviced by Seat once a year without any gap. I do not see why they refuse to repair it under warranty.
If anybody has some knowledge about this, please help me to understand it. Or help me to be able to reason with warranty repair department.
Thank you for reading.

You've got zero chance of getting this done under The warranty on a 2007 car, It's hard enough getting a warranty claim through on a 4 year old car were the perforation checks carried out each year? most garages don't automatically do them.

With that being said Honestly I would walk away and save the headache even if you prove the rust is coming from under the paint work they'll say the panel was sprayed and some point or was previously damaged in another way that has now caused this issue, and having only just bought the car you will not be able to change there minds.

Thank you for your reply.
It would cost a lot for me to repair if I take it to a shop.
I have not done any experience in repairing this sort of work.
I do not know what to do if I walk away from this.

Yeah I get that Just letting you know my experience from working for Seat I Can count the number of approved paint repairs done under warranty using my fingers and most were either still in the 3 year warranty or only just outside.

If you're able post some detailed pictures of the affected area and also roughly where you are in the country.

Thanks Fmxvxx.
I got a phone call from Seat this morning and was told that it was the paintwork problem, not an anti-perforation warranty issue. Anti-corrosion warranty is very specific, so they know what they are talking about. I asked them if I could have the report for the decision, but the advisor said that they know what it is, so it is their decision whether is covered or not. Very disappointed. I guess it will cost a few hundred pounds to treat the rust.
Any tip or bodyshop to recommend? I am based in Ashford area.
