any 1 changed the front speakers?

how did you go about doin it?
i just had a quick look, they look like some kinnda special raised speaker or summat?

will a normal aftermarket speaker go in?

There is loads of stuff on here about upgrading them mate. You can also try this site http://www.icecavern.com/howtos/ibizaspeakerfitting/main.php which will tell you everything you need to know.

Its worth spending some time doin it but well worth it!

Also DO NOT ty and remove the speaker grill, you need to remove the whole door card... If you try and remove just the grill you will break it. One friend found out the hard way!!

I used adaptor plates for my components from Halfords. Job done, but the wiring was weird tho iirc.
