Any Leon problems

Hi,
Looking at buying a cupra Leon two years old just wanted to know if there is anything to look for or possible problems with them.
I'm aware of the infotainment system lag and software updates trim rattling and possible 1.5 ltr engine issues.
I have a seat Leon at the moment mk3.
I have had a test drive the other day and all seemed ok also can you dim the brightness of the infotainment system as it is a bit bright

You can dim the infotainment screen, also the drivers screen in settings.

Not aware of any issue with the latest 1.5 engine, but the roof (SOS) module is prone to failure (mine was just done under warranty) and the plugin hybrid system is very, very expensive to fix after the warranty. I was offered a five year warranty when the car was delivered, so would be worth enquiring about that.

Main issue for me is the human interface, having to take your eyes off the road to adjust anything, or have an arguement with the voice control. The shortcuts for temp and volume under the screen don't light up at night, so are pretty useless. When a software update arrives it will do whatever it likes, no matter what you choose - once it finishes you have to lock the car for an hour before you can use the infotainment normally again.

Ps. If you get the DSG version then the hill programme is utter crap, you have override it with the paddles every time.
