I hate to start another thread about MAFs but like many hundreds of others out there, I am currently suffering from MAF problems. I know there are cheap ones avalable on Ebay and other websites and the Bosch ones seem to be pretty unreliable. Has anyone found a good source for reliable MAFs.......

anyway they are temperamental not unreliable....iv never had to change a maf

think ECP is the best place to get a replacement

Well thats what I thought but having read loads of threads, a lot of MAFs available through your recommended outlets are Bosch (which are dodgy) and others are reconditioned ones sold as "new"......

If you get one from any of the places I mentioned and pay less than £90 it will be for a re-conditioned one. New ones are a lot more money and have no more guarantee of not breaking.

Having had more MAFs than most, I found the one I bought from Eurocar Parts to be the best. Better packaged than dealer item too.
They're virtually all reconditioned Bosch. You'll really struggle to find one that's not.
