Anyone got aftermarket headlights?

Red wire black wire goes to the headlight. Blue wire black wire goes to the full beam. red black and white goes to nothing, dont know that they are for. Than you go two left over which are black wire and white wire which goes to a resistor style box situated under the headlight rubber cover. Those are the two wires you need, there should be a split connection half way along which if you manage to get the proper resister from where you have bought the lights from will be a simple plug and play connection.

Thanks for your post, paul, but I am afraid I still do not understand exactly how it is installed or which colors go in each resistor.

I just placed an order for this:

Those are the instructions i couldnt find for you and yes they are crap pictures.. The only wires you need to know are the black wire and the white wire with the connection block half way down, dont worry about any other wires which go into lights etc.. Look at picture (3) and that is what you need.. Picture (4) is what you are missing, a black box.. If you dont get the box from where you got your lights from than, use those load resistors you have now ordered to connect to those two wires (black and white). Thats all you need to do

I just checked the wires I have today and it turns out there are four in each head light unit, one green, one white, and two black wires. Which one do I need? I am assuming black and white, but as I said there are two black wires in each head light, so I don't know which one to go for?

AWESOME! The resistors just came today. I had honestly forgot all about them.

I'll take pictures of how the headlights' wires are connected to each other and upload them later.

I still have absolutely no idea how to install the resistors, but perhaps when I upload the pictures it can make it more clear for you guys to explain how if that's okay?

Still waiting for my bits to turn up!....in the meantime ill be starting another mod on the mirrors, aka puddle lights and Audi indicators!

I don't think the pictures are clear, but that's the best I could get. What do you think? How do I go about installing the resistors?
