GT28RS ATP kit, or GT2871R turbo? The ATP kit makes around 330bhp on good days, and the GT71R's can make up to a claimed 400bhp but cost a lot more.
im gettin gt28rs eliminator kit, with stage 3 clucth, fly wheel, 550cc injectors, S3 Maf, S3 inlet, manifold, down pipe and sports cat, and what ever else! then revo stage 3, with a set of porcshe brakes custom made to fit off a gt3.. bring on january!! its costin around 4-5k for the lot!!

I was looking into the GT2X kit and GT28RS kit, however this time i'm not going to jump the gun and run into it. I'm also looking into the GT2871R as well as the turbo that Bill Brockbank uses.
If things go to plan i may be going the GT2871R route, will also have Stage 3 Clutch plus LSD.

If i'm doing it, i'll be doing it right so it'll be getting internal work. If i'm just going to limit boost I may aswell go for an IHI turbo.
Pete - Why spend all that money then have REVO map it? I'd atleast want a custom map on a big turbo.

well im gettin the work done at www.quattronics.co.uk its gettin revo stage 3 as thats the software he uses, u think a custom would produce better figures?
Pete - Personally I think that a custom map would benefit you more, however if it's what he uses and he's given you a good price (£5k inc Brakes, Exhaust and CAT) stick with him you could always change it at a later date.

Big boys toys quoted me £3500 which included the GT28RS, Clutch & Flywheel, Injectors, Highflow manifold, Maf & Labour.
I think for 5k if you getting brakes and exhaust system etc etc plus i'm guessing some upgrade on the suspension!!! then thats not bad!
yer that included everythin. engine out job for labour, fitting brakes everythin! i think il try his revo stage 3 and like you sed i can change it at a later date, looking forwar to it now not long only 6 weeks or sumthin!!
cheers mate only reason im goin down ther is coz hes doin my brakes aswell and gettin the hole lot done together! as posted above if im not happy with the map il get a custom one done! jus lookin forward to havin it done!!
thats wat i thought i no hes done matts gt2x etc i enquired this with matt and jim said he prefers not to as they r bad head to fit i think!! dont quote me on that though
