my advice........

Rip out all pipework from the outlet of the cooler
run fresh pipework from cooler under subframe and up to Throttle body - weld on MAP sensor from forge before Throttle body, abouta foot down the pipe

the way you have it set up at the mo your samco hose connects to a black squashed oe pipe, you may as well run all your pipes squashed if your doing this as your causing a bottleneck in flow

hope this helps

i see what u mean. This has been mentioned in the last few days and i would like to renew mine from inlet down and also from the charge pipe. Probably get all pipes fabricated but little strapped for cash due to what i have spent this month

thats how i want my pipe work. Coming up the left side of the engine. 1 question though. Doesn't that allow it to heat up more because its going a longer distance and runs around the engine?
Looks good though david. Bet it goes well.

the "big pipe" you mention is the hotside of the cooler anyway so it wouldnt matter, but to answer your question it doesnt get hot

lag is not effected at all as the pipes/bends are smooth and no restrictions/bottlenecks - even when i had a k03 turbo it was not effected

im going for dinner soon so il try and get some more pics of the cold side of the pipework which you need to get rid of that horrid snorckel pipe

Common sense i should of known it was the hot side. Will be good to have some pic's

dan i got the price for this a while back from a custom exhaust place because there is alot of difficult bends. I got quoted 330 back 3mths ago and back then thats how i thought it was supposed to be fitted anyway. David explained that its better earlier.

it is probably possible to do by buying the bends and probably cheaper. But just thought i would say that i had been quoted

each to there own. i didn't want to lose centre section and with it the other way around it looked better.

i can get you mandrel bent alloy pipe work (like my own) cheaper than £330 .......
(my own pipework replicated).......

With the forge kit, do they supply a pipe which replaces the black squashed one with the sensor?
