Some people can't resist...my old man washes his xkr with a brush, so many times I've tried to convince him otherwise and he keeps using it.

I now have the lovely job of polishing all the scratches out for summer lol

what do you mean?

its fine, i use fairy liquid and an spounge to wash mine then just dry teh car with an old rag?

Should stay away from sponges, and any form of rag or chamois for cleaning and drying. They'll leave fine scratches all over your car. Although you wouldn't think it a sponge is very slightly abrasive, not to mention the fact they easily pick up small stones etc. It's the same with chamois for drying, always the potential for scratches. I'd stick with a microfibre washmitt for washing and drying towels for drying...you'll find they are much more absorbent anyway, and last a lot longer as they can be but through the wash.
 
Is that different to a British version? Just it looks like a boc all the way around until you get to the back and it has fr style exhausts an thoughts?
