anyone sucessfully got the login code from seat ?

Bought me a key from seat ( £50 !) now want to match it to the immobiliser myself, watford seat told me seat UK wont give it, anyone know who to contact at seat UK to get it ?

The process for using the SKC or LOGIN code ( once you have obtained it ) is but that dosent answer my questions , 1 - has any one successfully got one & 2 - from who or what department etc.. rather than just write to them uninformed i wanna save some time.

Do you not have the immo key from the original keys? it comes on a 2" tag normally

AFAIK they aren't allowed to withhold such info anymore but they are allowed to charge as m0rk says.

Seat and Skoda are technically able to give you a 4-digit SKC, if they do depends on the dealer policy.

Do you think this would work on my leon 51 reg (2002) tdi se 110?
i've only got one key and don't have any codes. I've got a USB VAG-COM cable on its way from ebay, would this work with the code sniffer program??

Please could you do a step by step guide to getting the code and programming the keys? i'm worried i'll erase them all and won't be able to start my car. Only had my Leon for 2 weeks and it was my first VAG car. I'm used to vauxhalls.

Yes, its possible to do it on that car as well as it had a 4 digit skc..

i will be doing a guide...

but you would need a different cable which is £50 then use the code sniffing program!

Im also happy to extract codes for people who live close to the midlands for a bit of beer money

ok thanks for the info. The cable i need is out of stock. but i'm waiting for my vag-com cable to arrive so i'll check that the login cable will work with my immobiliser. When programming up keys, do you always have to erase ALL of them?? i'm worried if i do this and the programming part doesn't work I won't be able to use my car.

always erase them yup

but i had no problems with it at all mate....

dead easy and didn't fail!!!

u will need new transponders if you bought a key off ebay in the key.....

not bothered about having a remote, I just wanted a spare just in case. Can the transponders only be programmed once?
At the moment i'm waiting for both cables to arrive then i'll give it a go. If i need help with it could I PM you and would you help me out when the time comes?

My cables have arrived but i can't get the code out of the immobiliser. I've bought the £51 USB login code reader from vagproducts.co.uk. It will log in to the immobiliser but can't see how i can get the login code. Which program and cable did you use to do yours?
