I've read about thendamage sponges do off detailing forum, couldnt believe it! bought some murs microfibrewashmitts and use the "2 bucket" method now!!

Same here! Seem to have caught the "detailing bug" as well! Another expensive part of car ownership! Need a rotary polisher now!

Valetpro-Does the job nice scent too. Gives a gud shine & all is needed after is a light wash with my Meguiars mitt. 10/10

I also use Valet Pro. It was suggested to me by a pro detailer that adding a small amount of shampoo in lance bottle also helps.

Valet pro-thanks.

I'm going to use it in the little bottle attachment with my karcher, does anyone know if it will be compatible with this???

R u on detailig world mate, coulda sworn I've seen ur pic on there!

I'm gutted I have used a sponge previously! :( :(

I am mate yeah, i mainly lurk on there though, only made about 10 posts!

I can sit for hours reading the threads in the studio & showroom. It's a great forum.

Ive been using lamb wool mits for about 7 years now (since i havd my 1st decent car) and you cant fault them
I woud never take a sponge to my car ever! Although I dot use a small one for the wheels before I dry them and polish them.

Snow Foam is like a prewash and if you can you are meant to heat the water too.
You still have to wash the car after you have rinced the foam off though but it does have better results. 2 bucket methoed is the best way then dry with 2 Big Thirsty Microfibre drying towels!
Once thats done the world is your oyster with paint cleaner, polish, wax and sealants.
They are so many different ways and guides bbut after a while you get to know the method which best suits you.
Personally my misses doesnt approve me of cleaning the leon over 3 days as its not a show car like some of the other cars I have had.
