Anyone with experience on K&N oil filters?

I just bought this oil filter for my cupra but its a new product so i don't know if its been tested or if its safe to install it...
It is compatible with ea113 engine but still can't find a review of people that used it...

They had a bunch of performance filters on Engine Masters recently, tested them all on an engine dyno. looking at flow rate and oil pressure.

There are a couple of different K&N filters, one with 20 micron filter media and one with 60 micron (larger sized filter media allows greater oil flow, especially with high weight oils)

Exactly my finally thoughts! I don't want to risk and having micro particles escape from the filter and damage the engine. Performance my ass..

Yes but im more concerned for the proper filtering of sub particles. Im not into racing. I want to be safe and prolong the good health of my Engine.

Then why even get one in the first place? It's hardly a secret that less filtration is the primary method used in "performance" filters to achieve higher flow rates.

Ah.. don't ask.. i just found it and i said why not. But after it hits me and tried to think more logic. ?

Then you want a decent OEM filter like MANN.

The K&N is geared towards racing applications, where it's users will change their oil much more frequently, so build up of particles in the oil won't be so much of an issue.
Those people are more interested in oil flow and pressure at high RPM and loads.
