Anyway to turn off the wireless charger pad

Just wondered if there is anyway to turn off the wireless charging plate. The other day, my phone got so hot on the plate, it shut itself down. This has happened a few times, when even though my phone is fully charged, or charged enough ... I lay it on the plate, and the charging coil heats up the phone

I therefore sometimes just plug in a charger, but the plate still seems to be active, anyway to turn it off?

Not sure there is tbh. Mine gets hot too but it's never shut down. Try putting it on the plate face down, it shouldn't charge that way.

I will try that .. although, even on my previous phone, which did not have wireless charging, the plate still seemed to warm the phone up

I use a small piece of this cut to fit the area of the wireless charging surface, it not only stops the phone sliding around, still charges, but also raises it enough that my phone (Note 20 Ultra), never appears to get hot, certainly not shutdown.

Mine is charged before I get in the car, but then I only use it as a phone so the charge lasts days.

Still no solution from CUPRA on this unfortunate feature, simply i realized that i do not need hand warmer :/ ?

If it's android there is an option fast wireless charging un tick, that helps a little bit.
Also battery protection in phone to stop charging once it has reached to certain level.
I just avoid using charging pad waste of space.
That's my work around anyway.
