298BHP on 93 octane! Things are looking good for the cupra!

EDIT: Sorry just realised it's for the longitudinal engine not transverse but still! Looks promising for a K04 2.0T

Is that manifold and turbine housing all cast together? Didn't someone say the asbo was the same, and had a K04?

I'm a bit confused - doesn't that have a B-W "K" logo on it?

K04 upgrade? I wonder if that's the K04 that's coming on the Cupra/S3/TT2.0Q ?

Yea didn't notice that! Turbine housing and mani is cast together!

As for the compressor housing, well it could be just modified slightly or as you said a newer/different K04!

Not the one above it's made for engines mounted longitudinal not transverse like you would need.

That said expect one for transverse engines some time soon......can't imagine it would be much more ££ either

Oettinger do the same kit! It's the OEM k04 setup!

it's a shame nobody's (yet) made seperates...

there's a load of room round the back of the TFSi if they moved the turbo over to be more central

Excellent DP routing too (I think that's why they're remapping so well)

VF Engineering/GIAC have made a GT28R + VF cast manifold + engines bits kit for $5250. Good for 300whp.
Or a slightly better kit good for 350whp for a few more bucks.

I'll be interested to see what the k04 mapped S3's come out with.... the SEAT Sport mapped Super Copa (which I imagine runs the same manifold unuit) is 300bhp (easily)

I hadn't seen the GIAC ones yet - do Regal import them yet?
