are 17" slow???

hi guy need advice dont no if this been cover before but i want some alloys for my 1.2 5 door ibiza thing is i keep looking at pictures of other ibiza and 15s look small and 17s look good but im scared if i get 17s i will damage stuff and it will be as slow as hell???

anyone got any storys or advice for me please#??

with a 1.2 you wont notice much performance drop lol - it hasnt got any to begin with.

well thats the thing i been looking at wheel but i havent got much over 500 to spend which i no is sod all but the only wheel i scene with a bit of dish is wolfrace street octanes u no of any good wheels that would look good on a black 5/door?????

used is a good way to go, I got some nice 17 inch Team Dynamics Pro Race 1.2's (with legal tyres) for my Focus for £250 from ebay and they're probably lighter than a lot of OEM 16's

running 17's on my ibiza 1.2 and have had no probs had them on 4 2 years now

ive had 17's on mine since i got it (about 3 years ago).
Never had any problems, although i did notice a drop in acceleration (not that there is much there to begin with)

You will notice a power drop and speedo will be slightly out but otherwise they should fit ok

17's should be ok ive got 18in r8 replica alloys and they scrub abit on fully lock and when turning hard round corners.. going to get rid of them though!!!...

well ive been offered some some borbet a's in 16in only thing is on the front there 16x7.5 which is fine but on the rear they are 16x9 will they fit on my ibiza????

yeh i got 17" on mine and you notice a small difference but put it this way, i would rather have the good looking 17" than put on small whells to get that tiny increase
