I can't really comment because I used to drive a Saxo VTR when i was a bit younger, but for the above reason - my insurance on my Cupra was cheaper than my Saxogo figure!
The insurance being higher on the Saxo will down to insurance companies understading what type of person typically drives a Saxo VTR/VTS and what type of person typically drives a Cupra through profiling of the people insuring those vehicles and assessing claims history on the vehicles.
Saxo's are probably a higher risk in relation to the probability of a claim arising compared to a Cupra.

No it cheaper on the supra as.the.insurance companies have classed the supra as a standard 1.4 and not a turbo one. So its n the group 4 when the boc is 14 lol.
