Nah not completely paul, if i only boot it to 5k it seems to be ok for the most part but still limps occasionally. Its sounding awesome in this warm weather like im in love with it again, for now haha. Lookin forward to this meet like
Polos a gonner gez i knacked it up and weighed the shell and engine in, looks a lot better in the photos...it was a **** box if im honest lol i only bought it for the wheels

The bumper is just getting repainted as there's laquer flaking and it let's the car down. Just want it looking right for gti as Itl be in among cars which are perfect and I'm not gonna show myself up lol. Not that is getting shown, were just goin for the crack and the camping!
Youv bought a nice car with lots of toys available so modding is endless really. Don't use k&n intake, go for jetex there better and 30 quid cheaper, you want 70mm kneck and get one rated to 300bhp and youl never have to change it aslong as you stay on your k03s. Decat and downpipe can be had off eBay for 100 quid then exhaust choice is entirely up to what you wanna spend, makes a noticable difference like and sounds awesome on full chat.
Once the breathing is sorted you wanna uprate the dv to forge then get it stage 1 mapped, first time you plant the loud pedal you will never of smiled as much lol what a difference. I wouldn't really bother with anymore engine work as the turbo can't flow much more than you will get at stage 1 anyway.
You had the belt and water pump done yet? If not when you do upgrade to metal impellar pump, much stronger. The rest is utterly personal choice, how you want it to look, you have good taste in cars so im sure it will look wicked when your done.

hey, wow now thats a lot to look at haha, been on the bay and the jetex website and its lookin good esp that filter! im not lookin at making it too fast at the moment as im only just getting used to it and I dont want to stuff it in a ditch in the yorkshire moors lol,but remap is definately on the list later down the line. just camping at GTI Int ey, with your machine you may aswel show it!
Yeah I made sure I bought one with the cambelt and the pump already done, its only had it few thousand miles ago so not bad
We all have great taste in cars on here dont we lol, Leons are awesome to drive, I went straight from a MK4 1.4 polo to my cupra and never looked back, although my polo was great to me!
May I ask another novice question? I have a fair few stratches on my car, not deep ones, but it being black it shows up everything lol, do you know the best products and ways of getting it lookin how it should?

you will need something with an abrasive texture but not too much, something like dodo juice lime prime, it will need to be applied with a buffer though to get a decent result. i just got some took out from phil at polished, it only took him 10 mins and the result is sweet as, if you get stuck take it to him he works wonders and hes only in middlesbrough, just up the road for you
My cars not show material katy lol, its nice dont get me wrong but has imperfections, its nearly 10 lol cars at inter come from all over europe on trailers, they never leave there garages and have had endless amounts spent on them, iv only spent about 3 grand so far so as you can imagine im no where near there standard. maybe one day il build a show car but this aint gonna be it ha ha. camping and beer is the main agenda wehey

A map is a must on these cars though, they arent really quick at 180bhp, all your doing is giving it what seat should of at the factory. If you get a prog map it wont drive any different to what it does now, just quicker, but they only go as quick as you make them so go easy on the loud pedal and you will be sweet.

You will get a really warm welcome and even some free sexy window stickers to help promote the site. fancy it??? theres a meet the 27th of this month on the a19, massive turnouts and getting bigger each time, some gorgeous motors too, and yours could be sat there shining in among them
oh and im 25 from durham but i live ingleby barwick near yarm now, not far from northallerton.

massive raves? where are these like? you on about club m, retro and **** like that or new monkey type raves? We go all over for trance events, we were down leeds at digital society the other week for ferry corsten and sied van riel, awesom night and a few weeks before that was armen van buuren in air at birmingham!!
Theres plenty of standard cars go to the meets, theres no shame in not rolling up with 18s and dropped suspension, its the atmosphere and the cars i go for its a good laugh, get yourself along and il introduce you to a few vag heads, there all really sound!

well, I hear that Magna is soon in Yarm, i fancy it but a bit skint. Rather save for creamfields and a few other festivals youve been about on the rave scene, like it

nah not done the sounds i just sold all the gear was big into sound systems, but it adds too much weight and slows you down lol was running 2 12's, an amp, uprated door speaks and a alpine head unit, rattled my number plate off haha
I used to go to after dark then switched to hangar but now im on the trance scene, was up for creamfields like 20 of my mates are going but im unsure as i wanna go on holiday so the money could be better spent, the line up is awesome, im dying to see gareth emery, missed out on tickets for sankeys in manchester the other week they sold out! plus im trying to keep away from the uppers if you know what i mean lol so 2 days at cream wont do me much good in that dept lmao

Yeah the subs are silly heavy arent they, Ive taken mine out of my polo but need to wire it in still, but might get a more lightweight one, but Id like to give that extra bit of bass cos the speakers cant quite cope!

if you listen to rave there is no bass in it its all treble, my speakers sound wicked for standard, infact i dont think iv had a car that sounds quite as good from factory. Also for that type of music you want a 10 inch so it can cope with the speed anything bigger and the coil is too slow so you get distortion after certain levels.
Creamfields is still an option but i just dont know, i really wanna go to new york for a few days to bash the shops (designer freak lol) and i wanna go back to egypt to dive as i didnt take enough cash with me last time, under there sea is awesome, crystal clear and loads of wicked coclour fish and coral, like another world haha

had a photo shoot the other day, mainly for the club and the face of its updated website but we managed to get a few individual shots too, im posting em up as i get them as there being edited at the minute.

To be honest, I love all sort of music, ranging from heavy rock and metal through to hardcore dance lol so whichever will give a clear crisp sound but I know what you mean, the standard ones that come in it are awesome! much better than any others.

From harrogate its no more than a half hour ride, A1 onto A19-Teeside and straight up it to dalton peircy to the windmill, be worth a ride out for you, give you some ideas on what to do with the leon if nothing else. All of the cars on the pics are there plus alot more
Yeah im well pleased with the pics, i have another shoot arranged for a couple of weeks with mine and pauls leon, the flash red and platinum grey will look **** hot against eachother. They will be in different locations though, underneath the A19 flyover and behind a run down industrial factory...cant wait to see the out come. If you ever want it doing kurt only charges £15 for a 2 hour shoot and 30 edited photos.
To be honest all of the music you describe a 10" will be best suited, 15's are for bassline music, garage, dubstep etc and a 12 is just a middle ground thing, if you dont think a 10 will be enough then get 2 lol
