Arosa 1.4 TDi making a lot of noise

Car was going fine,started it the following morning & although it runs it sounds like a tractor with no power. Revs build up & it sounds like its only running on 2 cylinders any 1 any thought about this.
If the engines goosed it'l b broken up so if any1 needs anything let me know.

Does the turbo spool up? May also be a dirty MAF, I had a similar intermittent issue with my A2 but after cleaning the MAF all has been well

Any warning lights at all?

Nope no warning lights happened totally out of the blue with no previous problems. The noise is really loud i think its terminal but the doubt is that it still runs.

Would be a good idea to get a vag com diagnosis as this is bound to have thrown some codes up! Could be running in limp mode because of this problem, that'll explain the lack of power!
